Semperfli Worm Chenille is the iconic material to tie some of the most famous and infamous flies such as San Juan Worms, Wolly Buggers, Egg Sucking Leech, Egg pattern, the Montana Fly and many more. Is definitely one of the first synthetic to play with when you are starting tying, perfect to better understand how to properly wrap, cut, burn some flytying stuff.
It has a 3mm diameter and his core is really supple and mobile into the water, giving this chenille lots of movement and vibrations. Semperfli Worm Chenille is also very different from most of the synthetic materials used to tie San Juan worms, and it doesn’t require any kind of special treatment or storage, you just need to heat the ends of the worm to create a tapered body and to secure fibers.
The Semperfli Worm Chenille comes in two different variants, standard and Semperfli Sparkle Worm Chenille which has added uv flecks in the body as additional bite trigger.
Each bag contains approx 2mt/2.1yds of chenille.
