The Semperfli Mylar Cord is a material characterised by an incredible effect that tends to imitate fish scales, ideal for salmon flies, trout flies, predator flies and even sea flies. The internal thread has already been removed at the factory to allow the fly tier to proceed directly with the making of the fly, without wasting time preparing the material.
The Semperfli Mylar Cord has a glittery effect and a crossed structure. When used as a body it provides incredible attractive properties towards predators. You can also gently fray the end of the tube in order to use it as a tail.
