The rod is perfectly balanced, has a good reserve of strength, allowing the angler to control the loop, even at long distance. Thanks to the particular mounting system, the lateral flexures are reduced to a minimum, allowing very precise cast. The HotFly ICS V2 Italian Casting Style 7'6 Line 3 is made up of three sections and weighs only 66 grams. The considerable weight reduction has been achieved thanks to the use of graphite and resins of the latest generation. A lightweight reel seat with cork insert was also installed.
In addition to the superb blank, even the finishes are exclusive. The matt black paint, in addition to being elegant, is ideal to avoid any solar flashes that could disturb the most suspicious fish. The single bridge guides are made of non-deformable titan of the highest quality, allowing a sliding of the fly line with less friction possible. The reel seat is made with Briarwood. The cigar handle is made of Portuguese AAA cork. The rod is protected during transport inside a sturdy cordura tube, with three compartments, in black, equipped with handle and shoulder strap.
It is possible to use the HotFly ICS V2 Italian Casting Style 7'6 Line 3 rod with any type of DT or WF fly lines. But, best performances can be obtained with DT fly lines. Among all the tested models we found the maximum performance and effectiveness achieved with the Cortland Line 444 Classic Peach DT3 fly line.
