This leader has a unique profile that increases in taper up toward the front end and then reduces again in diameter at the tippet, almost like a weight-forward fly line. This provides increased impetus in the front section for a more definite turnover when casting heavier nymphs and the ever popular dry and dropper arrangement. With a tippet length of 100 cm (3,5 ft) the leader is ready to use. A shorter tippet ensures smooth, clean turnover, making control easy. Such attributes come into their own when fishing smaller, more intimate rivers or streams and where you’re surroundings are restricted. What’s more this leader makes turn over easy for beginners, yet will appeal to the more seasoned angler, who can add tippet lengths of their own requirements.

This leader features a special taper divided by: Butt/Tapering up 43% - 145cm/4,8 ft. Front Taper is 27% - 90cm/3ft and tip is 30% - 100cm/3,2ft. Yes, Guideline have designed this leader to be used straight out of the packet. However, longer tippet sections can be added. Our team found the leader performed in tight spots, or where fish are holding close to your position that don’t require long casts. We suggest you might like to tailor the leader by cropping off half the tippet section (50cm) before knotting on a Guideline tippet ring. Now, simply add slimmer diameter tippets as required.
