Multi-Species Applications
Guideline Aura fly reels cover a wealth of situations — from the lightest single-hand trout and Euro Nymph fishing all the way to heavy single-hand salt water and two-handed Spey applications. Every size has been carefully matched to its purpose, creating a range of modern fly reels that feel precise, balanced, and intuitive in the hand. The series consists of seven different reels, ranging from a light and delicate #34 trout reel, up to a powerful double hand #1012 salmon reel.
Large Arbor & Closed Frame
Larger diameters accelerate line pick-up and improve fish control, while carefully tuned spool widths deliver even line lay without stacking or bunching. By refining volumes to the precise needs of each application, capacities remain efficient, allowing the reels to stay lightweight and perfectly counterbalance modern, advanced rod technologies. Double-hand-specific models incorporate a solid line guard, adding mass to properly balance longer rods and reinforcing the structural integrity expected in demanding situations. All reels feature a full-frame design that prevents thin shooting lines or monofilament nymph lines from getting trapped between the spool and the frame.
CNC-Machined & Easy Retrieve Conversion
The Aura reels come in a sturdy, padded nylon pouch with Velcro closure — ideal for protecting the reel both on and off the rod. They are delivered with left-hand retrieve as standard, but switching to right-hand retrieve is quick and easy using just a flat-head screwdriver. Each reel is precision-machined to exact tolerances, ensuring perfect alignment and smooth operation even under heavy loads. CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium the Aura fly reels combine lightweight performance with exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Spare spools are available for all sizes of AURA Bronze.
Fully Sealed Carbon-Disc Drag
The Aura’s design exploration extends beyond proportions and into the finer details that define modern performance in fly reels. A fully sealed carbon-fibre disc drag system ensures smooth, consistent resistance across the full spectrum of fishing conditions — protecting the lightest tippets while still offering absolute stopping power against larger fish. The carbon-fibre disc drag delivers a maximum output of 3.0 kg on the single-hand models, while the three larger models (#910, #810DH & #1012DH) generate up to 4.0 kg of drag force. It requires minimal maintenance and is built to withstand years of hard use in both fresh and saltwater environments. CNC-machined drag knobs offer tactile precision and secure handling, even in cold or wet environments.

The reels feature dual-anodized finishes that combine durability with refined visual appeal. Most models are available in three beautiful colour-ways — Bronze, Titanium, and Blue — harmonizing with a wide range of fly rods, fishing environments, and personal preferences. All models are built with corrosion-resistant components, making them suitable for both saltwater and freshwater applications, targeting a multitude of species around the world.
