The Elk & CDC Sedge is a dry fly designed to imitate adult caddisflies, combining the buoyancy of elk hair with the lightweight, natural appearance of CDC feathers. This combination provides excellent flotation and a realistic silhouette, making the fly particularly effective in both fast-flowing streams and slower waters. Ideal during caddis hatches, it is a versatile pattern, perfect for prospecting and targeting trout actively feeding on the surface.
