The reel drag is not only completely sealed, but also has a practical numbering system on the adjustment wheel, which makes it easier to find the right setting. It runs very smoothly, precisely and evenly without jerking. At the same time, the carbon discs develop enough braking power to stand up to even strong and persistent sea fish without giving up after just a few moments. The protruding and therefore easy-to-reach adjustment knob on the reel drag is easy to grip and has correspondingly large dimensions, as does the reel handle. This means you have everything under control even in the hectic pace of an exciting fight.

Thanks to the enhanced inner diameter of the Large-Arbour-spool, this fly reel offers you a high retrieve per crank rotation. This spool shape also significantly minimises the memory effect of the fly lines, so that the fly line keeps its full potential for long casts even if it is kept on the reel for longer.
The spool and reel frame are CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminium. The anodised surface protects this fly reel very well against corrosion, which is particularly important when using this reel in saltwater, as the aggressive salt would otherwise degrade the reel very quickly.
