The White Peanut Envy is an articulated streamer created by renowned American fly tyer Kelly Galloup, designed to target large predatory trout. Featuring an elongated silhouette, an all-white coloration, and soft materials that create lifelike movement underwater, it imitates small baitfish and other aquatic prey. Its articulated construction, featuring two hooks, provides a natural, flowing swimming action that is particularly effective when fished with aggressive strips and pauses. The light coloration offers excellent contrast in various lighting and water conditions, making it ideal for exploring deep pools, fast-flowing water, and areas where large trout hunt. If needed, one of the two hooks can be cut, leaving only the hook shank as part of the articulated structure, allowing the fly to be fished with a single hook without compromising its natural movement.
