The "cage" structure of this frame prevents the line or thin 0.55mm euro nymph line from escaping during retrieve, avoiding the formation of annoying tangles precisely during the most critical moments of the fishing session.

Versatility for Different Techniques
The #4/6 version of the Radius allows this reel to be used not only for euro nymphing, but also for dry fly fishing, traditional nymph fishing, and light streamer fishing, making it an extremely versatile tool.

Deep Spool with High Capacity
The spool is characterized by its considerable depth. Although this aspect may increase the memory effect on line or fly line, it offers the advantage of significantly higher capacity, allowing the use of a greater amount of backing.

Carbon Disc Drag System
The drag, of non-sealed but high-quality type, allows extremely precise adjustments. The carbon discs ensure smooth release of line or fly line, minimizing the risk of tippet breakage even in case of sudden fish runs. The drag adjustment knob features generous dimensions and protrudes from the reel body, facilitating adjustments even during the most hectic moments of fishing action.

Premium CNC Aluminum Construction
For the Radius construction, Loomis & Franklin selected anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, machined with precision CNC machines. This production process has allowed achieving a product with excellent finishes, characterized by a particularly rigid and robust frame structure.

User-Friendly Features
The spool changing system is simple and quick, while the possibility of conversion from right to left hand retrieve makes the reel adaptable to every angler's preferences.
