The Loomis & Franklin CLK fly reel gets its name from the typical permanent clutch sound. It is a super-lightweight ambidextrous fly fishing reel with elementary operation and unlimited durability. The absence of an adjustable braking system destines it for medium-light fishing for trout, chub and grayling, but on the other hand eliminates any inconvenience. Should the need arise, one can still give up line by controlling the reverse rotation of the spool with the palm of the hand.
