Compared to the out-of-print "Gli insetti di Fly Line," METAMORPHOSIS I will feature an updated systematics (the two works have been separated by twenty-three years), new photographic images (except where it was not possible to replace certain shots due to their rarity or exceptionality), new, broader, more rational, and simplified dichotomous keys, and will remove aspects of little significance for both the fly fisherman and the professional user. The connections to fly fishing have been expanded with additional fishing information, links, and references to the other books in the SUPERFLY series dedicated to imitations.
